Dear Authors,
Before submitting your article to the Journal of Curriculum Studies in Teacher Education & Development (JCSTED), please carefully review and follow the guidelines for authors.
- After registering and creating a username and password on the journal's website at http://jcstedicsa.ir, submit your article through the mentioned website.
- Authors of English articles should register and submit their articles through the English section of the journal system (here).
- When registering in the system, authors should enter their first name in the 'First Name [English]' and 'First Name' fields and their last name in the 'Last Name [English]' and 'Last Name' fields.
- When submitting an article, in the 'Enter Manuscript Title' menu, authors should enter the full title of their article in the 'Full Title [English] and 'Full Title ' fields and the short title in the 'Running Title [English]' and 'Running Title' fields.
- When submitting an article in the 'Add/Remove Authors' menu, authors should enter their first name in the 'First Name [English] and 'First Name field ' and their last name in the 'Last Name [English]' and 'Last Name' fields.
- In the 'Add/Remove Authors' menu, authors should enter their organizational affiliation in the 'Affiliation/English' and 'Affiliation' fields.
- In the 'Enter Abstract' menu, authors should enter the abstract of their article in the ' Abstract [English]' and ' Abstract' fields.
- In the 'Enter Keywords' menu, authors should enter the keywords of their article in the 'Keywords [English]' and 'Keywords' fields.
- To receive the ethical commitment form and the conflict of interest form, click on them. It is necessary to submit the completed and signed forms by all authors of the article as an attachment to the article on the journal's website.
- According to the directive of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology of Iran on the need for plagiarism checking, researchers should check their article text in reputable databases and submit the report as an attachment to the article in the 'Add Files' section (plagiarism check file).
- The main article file should be submitted without mentioning the author(s)' details. Additionally, a separate file containing the author(s)' details in English, including the article title, first and last name(s) of the author(s), organizational affiliation/academic degree, workplace address, active email, contact number of the corresponding author, and the date of article submission, should be prepared and uploaded as an attachment to the article on the journal's website.
- English abstract: 120 to 150 words
- Keywords: 3 to 5 words, in order of importance and relevance to the topic
- Introduction: Including the background of the topic, importance and necessity, theoretical foundations and research background, statement of the problem, theoretical framework or theoretical basis, objectives, questions or hypotheses
- Research Methodology: Research method and design, statistical/research population, sampling method, sample size/number of participants, data collection tools, validity and reliability, data analysis method
- Discussion and Conclusion: Comparison of findings with the background, alignment of findings with theoretical foundations, analysis, interpretation, and explanation of results
- Recommendations: Presenting appropriate solutions for solving identified problems and challenge
- Footnotes: Concepts, specialized terms, and specific names that require further explanation should be mentioned in the footnotes on the same page.
- In-text and end-text references: All in-text and end-text references should be in English and in APA style (7th edition) in the article. The unique DOI identifier should be included at the end of each article's references as follows:

Additional Notes:
- Submitted articles will not be returned.
- The article should not be simultaneously submitted to or published in other journals.
- The length of articles should be between 7000-8000 words, formatted in Word with Times New Roman 12 font, single line spacing, and standard margins. This is a prerequisite for the article to enter the review process.
- The journal reserves the right to edit accepted articles for publication.
- In articles extracted from a thesis or dissertation, the student's name should be listed as the first author. Additionally, it is necessary to mention the educational institution/university, the original title of the thesis/dissertation, and the defence date.
Article Review, Acceptance, and Publication Fees
The Iranian Curriculum Studies Association (ICSA), the owner of the Journal of Curriculum Studies in Teacher Education & Development, has decided that the review, acceptance, and publication of articles in this journal are currently free of charge.
Ethical Considerations
- Submitting an article does not guarantee acceptance or publication for the author(s).
- The article should not be simultaneously submitted to or accepted/published in other journals.
- The journal should have access to the raw research data if necessary.
- Authors must avoid plagiarism and literary theft (copying content without citation, inconsistency of in-text and end-text references, using others' findings as their own, and not mentioning the details of individuals who are considered authors of the article, etc.).
- Authors are responsible for adhering to scientific ethics (avoiding plagiarism, fabrication, and scientific fraud). If any instances are discovered (before or after publication), the journal will act in accordance with the rules and standards of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
